Default JIC Titanium Exhaust

Anyone running the JIC titanium axle back or cat back exhaust. Any weights on it compared to stainless. How is sound and HP numbers. Is titanium worth the extra $$ or is it just overkill for a street car.

i would imagine the only advantage would be weight.

sounds is personal preference...

and of course the ID of the piping is what's most important IMO

It's overkill.

Get a T1R axleback with a titanium tip if you want a similar look. You could even tell everyone the entire catback is full titanium and no one would ever be the wiser.

EVOL is right; weight savings is the primary reason for going to Ti.

I dunno what kind of Ti alloy JIC uses, but their catback exhaust is about 3-4lbs. heavier than the Amuse if I remember. Plus the welds around the can are kinda ghetto IMO.

Go to jic-magic.com to check out their bullet series exhaust systems. They look pretty good to me. I think they offer 60mm and 80mm depending on application..
