As some of you know, Michael Jordan lives across the street from me. You might remember the thread about when I had a go at him in his Vanquish...needless to say the ITR went down.

Anyway, I was looking off my balcony, when I see some guys backing a 911 GT2 out of a tractor trailer. I looked at the residential side of the Ritz-Carlton, where he lives, and see a Vanquish parked outside. A closer look revealed Illinois plates, so it was him. That car sounds bad-*** even at idle. So, they drive the GT2 up next to the Aston, and the parking officers start conducting some serious business about where to park the GT2. A few minutes later, both cars were driven down into the garage.

So I am not sure, but I think MJ has a new GT2. If I run into this car on the streets I will let you know how the ITR stacks up. I don't street race, but I have and will again make an exception to attempt to roll Michael Jordan and his collection of supercars.

 

So you live next door to Michael Jordon?

 

Across the street, yes. Although I have only seen him once.

edit - once the basketball season starts, sightings of the Vanquish are more frequent.

The Bangkok thing is a joke, although it is one of my favorite cities in the world.

Not altogether impossible. The GT2 is a low 12's-high 11's car. And I bet Jordan has never won a Comp4 championship.

 

Hey, I work right down the street. 2120 L Street. I have not seen him down there personally, but my dad has seen him a bunch of times out at Four Streams.

It's the Gelman building. I'm right next to the elementry school and the Humane Society Building.

And, yes, I have actually seen your car. It was a couple of months ago I think. I was walking from the Foggy Bottom Metro stop around Washington Circle and saw you drive by (I guess it was you).

Becareful if you do happen to street race him, you know how competitve he is, after he loses to you he might challenge you to a game of 1 on 1.

Have you seen his wife and/or kids at all? Prolly not, since you have only seen him once

What other super cars does MJ have? I bet he cant compete with Jay Leno.

 

Leno doesnt collect supercars. He collects antique cars. Your Dusenburgs, old Fords and chevys, old ferraris, old MBs... YOu know classic stuff.

 

He's got some new stuff too. Some Italian *****-stretchers and a couple of Porsches.

Most of them are classics though and I dont think he has an perverbial "supercars" like F50s or McLarens. 360s and 355 and Porsches arent really supercars.
