Spoon Calipers - What are the part #'s for dc2R (98 spec or 00 spec)?
I found a used set of spoon calipers locally.
The guy had 5 lug conversion on his EG, with spoon calipers... He's selling everything off...
What is the correct p/n's I'd need to confirm (I think he still has the box)?
These would go on my '00 itr...
Thanks!

A better solution would be to find out whether or not the back of the calipers have been machined. And if he still has the black bolts (x4) and washers (x4) that came with the calipers. If so, then you're good to go!

I will say that they will not on 2000 models and only fit 2001 ITR's... so you must sell them to me.
Like mario said, hopefully he still has the black bolts/washers that came w/ the caliper from spoon.
DC2/DB8 98` spec p/n's as follows:
Twinblock Caliper (Right) : 45018-DCR-G00
Twinblock Caliper (Left) : 45019-DCR-G00
This sucks, I can't read japanese.

For the price, it's unbeatable!

Yes they are machined on the back, and have washers about the same thickness as the machining (weird)... Will these work? What do I look for in fitment - centering on the rotor? Washer goes inside or outside the machining?

To answer your question about the washer (spacer) it goes in the machined area to fill in the machine section and make the bracket thicker (as it would be if it wasn't machined.)
this is how mine was assembled, from inside->out
black bolt--->washer--->knuckle--->caliper--pad--rotor--pad--caliper
So with that, I don't think the washer spaced anything out, it just gives a bigger contact area for the bolt.
Maybe I installed it wrong, my nihongo isn't very good (read: poor)

Mario, I think that washer is supposed to space the knuckle and the caliper. I had to do the same thing for my NSX calipers.
Maybe this picture can help what Mario is talking about.

If they were on his 5 lug conversion and he has all the hardware you're good to go.
Get them.
Get them.

Thanks again to Mike @ IPS btw!!! He's a stand up guy! Now about those cusco MC braces.....?
Less than $800 wasn't something I could pass up on sp00nage calipers...!
