Default b-series motor mounts

hey guys,,i did a search and couldnt find what i was looking for. (if someone finds a thread like this, show it tome.) well, basically im ready to buy some motor mounts for my b16a into my 89 civic DX HB. i am leaning towards HAS since they have the best rep but theyre expensive. However, this guy who owns a shop tells me that HCP work just as well for roughly $275 shipped. he gave me a LONG explanation of how HCP are just as good as HAS (if not, then better due to its lower price). he can get me HAS for $400 shipped i believe. i dont mind spending more for HAS ONLY IF they are THAT MUCH better

so anyone have suggestions or comments about HCP motor mounts?

or anyone have motor mounts for sale, male offers

hasport linkage and mounts work like oem pieces.. i have had them for the last 6 months, with no problems at all..

dunno about HCP

just don't mix and match the companies for mounts and linkages.

Hasports perform great. I have had my billet mounts for more than 6 months and they have held up great. HCP are good pieces for the price as well.

the reason why you shouldn't mix and match is because the linkages are specific to the mounts.. if you do, the shifter won't sit right.

just ask anyone with place racing mounts and HASPORT shifter linkages... they'll tell you.

i like my HCP mounts, cheapest four mount kit available, without having to buy a new front crossmember. i hate the HCP linkage!!! i have mine finally adjusted correctly, after a lot of hassles. i plan on rewelding some new linkages anyway. don't worry about place mounts and hasport linkage, my friend has the setup, works fine.

no way the hcp mounts can work with the hasports linkage huh? sounds like hasport has the best linkage while hcp has the best pricing for mounts..

ahh, what to do..what to do

Hasport all the way. I have hasport billet aluminum mounts and shift linkage. I haven't install it yet because the car is still in the bodyshop.

I've got the HCP kit and they are great . No problems at all The linkage is fine too. It takes a little to get them adjusted to the way you like it, but after that smooth sailing. Either kit will work fine.

the hasport linkage is adjustable, thus it will work with hasport hcp place racing and those new ***** that look like hasport (arizona something) they are biting hard off hasport!

These are the mounts that I have. I am using a JDM linkage though. Dash shakes a little cause they are semi-solid.
