How hard would it be to get S2000 seats into an EG chasis civic? Just wondering. I can get these relatively cheap and they are nice.....and leather.

The front all you have to do is just bend the peg down but the rear you have to drill holes. I have had three hatches and everyone one of them has had S2000 seats or type r seats or my latest HAD NSX seats. It is easy just get them. What is cheap to you?

Cheap to me is a little under $1000 for driver and passenger side seats w/ no rails. Ok, so let me get this straight. You can put a pair of these seats in the back of a hatch too? And for the front all you have to do is swap the rails?! Sweet
Yes there is room for 4 of the S2000 seats in a hatch and it will fit. But the rear seats have nowhere to be bolted down and the head rest almost touches the ceiling. I know from experience I tried it. But I put RSX rear seats in my car instead. You can get the Black S2000 seats on EBAY for like 800-1000 for a pair.
yeah i too have s2000 seats in my car even though it is an ek. Like he said, you bend the front two mounting tabs cause the s2000 seats mount flat and after that 3 holes will line up. As far as swapping rails, from what i can see, you have to slide the top seat cover off and i didn't want to mess with it cause i couldn't see the hog rings like other seats. i guess they are hidden or something but i took a look for 5 min and decided i would deal with the 3 bolt holes. ya, i drilled gsr seats into my sol and am trying to get a tighter fit bole, what is the normal drill bit and then bolt size everyone uses when doing this?
I rolled my hatch 7 times with my S2000 seats bolted in using bolts and they were still tight as hell when I took the seats back out. I used 5/16's bolts about 2 1/2 inches long and some flat washers to keep them from pulling through and some lock washers to keep them in place. They were perfect and still slid forward and backwards. No complaints from me.
Other then the loss of my hatch. But I got a new one after that and it is better and faster now.

Its not too difficult to swap the seats over...
My friends car...

He retrimmed the centre part tho, they looked a bit plain...
He's also got an s2k steering wheel to match :D
Off topic but would anyone be interested in some Recaro's from a Euro R?
I prefer them to ITR seats by a mile... and rarer too...

I can do them for about $1300 all up...

Those seats feel like crap. Sat in Jonas' car when he had those S2Ks in and they're way too slanted inward for me... felt like I was gonna drive to the moon.

How are they ghetto? And what do you mean by "It felt like you were gonna fly to the moon"? Just curious cause this looks sweet and i'm considering it.
it's like sitting in the middle of a \_/ if you can imagine that. Your back is straight, your *** is low, and your thighs are pointed up. It just isn't very comfy.
Dude those seats rock. I have had 3 sets of them in my cars. And I think they are the ****.What seats do you have that look better and are more comfy?
lighter, and dont make your car smell like stinky *** leather.
will have REAL seats soon.
