i'm planning on trading my BBK 70MM TB for an ITR one. however, I have a GSR and the throttle cable on a GSR TB pulls from the opposite side that a b16/b18c5 TB does.
what will I need to be able to use an ITR tb on my stock GSR IM? where would I put the throttle cable bracket? anyone done this? thanks!

i have all my stock GSR TB parts, (and the GSR TB).
but the cable pulls from the opposite direciton in ITRs (mounted on teh intake manifold itself) whereas on the GSR it pulls from a bracket mounted on the TB.

i know what you're takling about. i'm not stupid.
if i used a GSR throttle bracket, it would not pull from the right direction. the GSR throttle bracket pulls from this direction

as opposed to the ITR throttle bracket which pulls from this direction
__

which is why you can't just use the GSR bracket.

you will need gsr throttle cable bracket and pulley
You need to put the BRACKET and PULLEY on the ITR throttlebody.

and i'm assuming by pulley you mean cable. if not please show me what yu're talking aboutl.
why do you think i had to do this with my BBK:

WHen i say pulley, i mean pulley. If i meant cable i'd say cable.
DO you know what a pulley is? Its that thing thats on the throttlebody that you
put the cable on.

stop being an *** if you're not going to help.
Im sorry that you dont know what you are doing and cant seem to grasp this
simple concept. We do this all the time, its quick and easy.
One last time for your sake:
CHANGE THE THROTTLE PULLEY AND INSTALL THE GSR BRACKET.

cable mount?
i see three pieces. the throttle body, the bracket (what you call pulley) that is bolted onto the TB and holds the cable. then there's the cable. what else is there?

valve, because when i was working on my friend's, he referred to it as a butterfly valve, and from that he just used "valve" to refer to the spring assembly / pulley / whatever.
anyway, what's the process in taking htem off and replacing them?

sorry to be redundant but is this is all i will need to do to be able to use the ITR TB on my gsr? just want to make sure i have everything set before i go off trading TB's.
yeap. like i said, all you need is the bracket(pulley) and pulley(valve) off your
original GSR throttlebody. Hell, I could trade you an ITR tb with all the work done
for you already.
