you need to call a local honda dealer and give them the vin number off your car and the radio
you may need to bring it in to them
each owner picked a security code when the car was origionally purchased.

What a kick in the nuts!!!! Will just the vin # be enough or do I need to take the radio out to get the # offf that also? I may as well put a new head unit in if I have to take this on out to get a serial #.
They won't be able to give you jack with the Vin of your car. You have to get the serial # off your radio. Some dealers will write the code on a sticker on a hidden location in your car somewhere. Call and ask the svc dept you got your car from if they follow that practice. Otherwise you'll have to take out your radio and get the serial # off it and take it to the dealership so they can get you the code.
Look inside your glove compartment, there is a white sticker in there with the radio's serial number, call the dealer and tell them you need the radio code, and give them the serial number printed on the sticker, they should be able to give it to you, and if they tell you that you have to pay, just IM me with the serial number, and i'll get it for you.
Gump,
I will try contacting a local Honda dealer on Tuesday (holiday weekend), I did locate the sticker in the glove box. If they don't help me I will IM you with the info.
Thanks

you shouldn't have to take out the radio, just bring your car to the dealer with the proof of ownership, (title) and they should be able to take care of it. but yea, call them up first.
My stereo has been off for 3 months because i have no code.I have the serial number on a sticker in my glove box, just like you said. But no code for the stereo.Could you please get my code for me, too?

The sticker that I located had both numbers and leters on it and some of the numbers were higher that 6 so it most likely isn't the radio code. I've never had to pull the radio on this car, how hard can it be its a Honda.
