TECH: 5x Accord Rear Drum -> Disc conversion

this is basically the guide to how its done since its actually very simple as in what you have to do but of course the labor is something else.
start by jacking up the car and using stands on both sides of the rear. of course you want to have your wheels completely off by this time.
if you can see the diagram the direct way to replace the rear suspension is to start unbolting by #55 where you see those 2 bolts. you dont want to bother with that suspension arm to the left of that. and then disconnect the top control arm this would be around #60. the only other thing that might connect to the suspension will be a control arm which you can unbolt very easily. dont forget you have to loosen the e-brake handles off from the inside since when you pull off the drums the ebrake cables will come off right with them. it might be a pain getting to the ebrake lines how they have it set up so make sure you have enuff room to move under the car. also some spots will be hard to get to since their on top of the exhaust heat shields. once you have the disc assembly on you will have to push throught the ebrake cables. just make sure not to pull off hte rubber boots the seal the lines.
ps- the diagram above is the exact version for the ex and the lx.
once you have everythign set dont forget to bleed the lines.
forgot to mention, you need the rear accord EX control arm, basically what ever is bolted to the lower control arm and the disc assembly.. the V6 one migth work and i believe it does, honda said there was a different part # so i didnt bother.
good stuff chameleon!
but how do you run the brake lines electrical connections, etc?
thanks!
