What is the B16B's Rod length? (reliable sources only please)
nrg-racing.com has it listed at 144mm (making it a 1.86 rod ratio engine)
I've heard that the CTR rod ratio is actually 1.77 (a little better than the 1.74 of the B16A)...this would make it a 137 mm rod instead.
Which is it?

Most likely it is a 1.86. You probably can do the math. Basicly it is a block with b18c5 deck height, but a b16 crank. So....a ITR stroke is 87.5? b16 is 77mm...
So, we could in theroy say a b16b has a rod 10.5mm longer then a b16a...so...
b16a rod+10.5mm/77mm stroke...what is the lenght of a b16a rod?

I have it on good authority that it is the ITR rod since the CTR is just a destroked B18C5 block.
137.9/77.4 = 1.78 r/s
where did you hear that it was a 1.86 r/s?

dude if you read my post I already said where I got the 144mm number from. I already knew about nrg...I emailed them as to where they got that number from. As I said other sources say it is shorter.

sure. why not? I just wanted to see if anyone came up with the specs or not and I read the other replies I hadn't seen from the initial posting. the moving hands apart and 508 mm replies are classic. We are honda-TECH...right? sorry Ryan, it's not about you and you know it..it's about the way things have changed here in general....

itr rod.............................137.9
diff in stroke/2..................+5.1
ctr rod...........................=143
its in the neighborhood of 143 ,give or take a few thousands(ctr have higher comp. height then itr pistons by 15 thousands so rod might be slightly shorter then 143 but not much.
