I hardly listen to the radio and i find it quite annoying that my antenna pops up and down everytime.....ther is no fuse just for it, i think all have to do is to cut one of the wire from the rear trunk, does anyone know which one it is? THX.....

 

Just unplug the power at the antenna base. Remove the side plastic in the hatch area and you will see it.

Nice link. I have a similar set-up in my car.............I just tapped into the power wire near the antenna in the hatch and ran wires to a OEM foglight switch in the center console to control it.

just get an aftermarket head unit...I did, and my antenna only flips up when I listen to radio stations. For CDs it stays down.

 

It's the yellow/green wire...

 

I replaced mine with an s2k antenna...

 

..... Where did you get the foglight switch? I want the little plug-in harness that goes with it.....

 

Not all of them. The aftermarket head unit I have raises the ant. whenever it is powered up.

I spliced off of the wires coming out of the deck and ran a new radio-shack deluxe switch to where the sun-roof switch cover slot is. I think it came out pretty nice:
