FOR SALE: Complete 2001 Integra Type R Air Conditioning System
2001 Integra Type R air conditioning system. The car has approx. 20k miles on it. The A/C was only used during the first 5k miles. The factory A/C option goes for upwards of $1,200 at the dealership. If you buy this kit and install it yourself, you will save tons of money
. I'm currently asking $600 + shipping/OBO. If you would like to make an offer, please post it in this thread for others to see. IM me with any questions. Thanks.

Arent the all DC2 Air Conditioning systems the same? Why so much? I heard that the condensors go bad after a few weeks....Let me know what's up, thanks!
I think the DC2 A/C systems function the same, but I remember hearing that the Type R system weighs less (I don't know for sure if this is true, you could check to see if the part numbers are different). The dealership charges $1,200 for the A/C option, so I thought $600 + shipping was a fair place to start. If you think that sounds high, make me another offer.
The condenser will not go bad after a few weeks. It should last ten years easily (if the A/C doesn't seem as cold as it used to after 4-5 years, then you can get the system recharged).
