What gauge wire for a kill switch?
I bought the Hella kill switch and have yet to install it on my Civic race car. I was thinking of installing it near the A-pillar on the roll cage on the driver's side. My car is an 88, so the battery is on hte passenger side near the rad. This gives you an idea of the length of cable needed.
Also, will I buy it at Home Depot or at a car stereo shop? Thanks, all.

I used Monster Cable 4awg wire. It was scrap that a friend of mine had laying around.
People that have to buy it use 4awg welding cable. It is more pliable and costs about $.50/foot. You can get it at any welding supply house.

i used 4g monster cable as well. but, looking back, i should have just used someones advice to buy jumper cables and cut off the clips. cheap heavy duty wire.
Actually, i had thought about the jumper cable thing as well, as you have 2 wires insulated yet running together. However, what gauge would the jumper cables have to be? All the ones around here seem too small...
