i think what he's referring to is that on all spoon sports mirrors, there is a scratch. it's apparently from the mold that they use. i think the mold has an "imperfection" that yields a scratched mirror...correct me if i'm wrong...

maybe spoon intentionally added the "scratch" to determine if it is indeed genuine!

thanks for all the posts guys, as far as them having a scratch on the mirrors I wouldnt know because they are still in the box. You could probably contact Spoon Sports and ask one of the elite trained monkeys if infact they add a scratch to the mirrors to insure they are genuine

This is a rediculous item.
Some people buy the oddest things.
Oh yeah, and just an FYI, if anyone says that these mirrors have a positive effect on the CD, they are pulling your leg. When mirrors (like these) are snug up against the A-Pillar, their "wake" creates turbulence along the side windows. The reason that most mirrors are separated from the body of the car, is A) visibility is incresed, and B) wake from the mirrors does not bother the attached flow along the side windows. Not that any of this makes a difference measured in tenths of a second, just trivia knowledge.

TypeRmsm (3:36 PM 8/29/2002): You have until Tuesday to explain why you sold Fake Spoon Mirrors to a Board member and Sold them under the false pretense of Being Authentic Spoon Mirrors.
