Just curious on what kind of pumps, (GPH) inline pumps you guys are using, and how large are your guys resoviors?

the max reservior size that is NHRA legal is 3 gal. This is the pump I'm using, I think it might be a little overkill but, oh well. The pump is supposed to flow 20 gpm. I think that is probably too much for what I need but when I fill the reservior up with ice the intercooler gets cold in a hurry.

Wanted to add a question. Where's a good place to get that smaller spearco core? I'm looking for the 2-252.

As for reservoir size, I plan to go with a 2.5-3 gallon, and a 10 gallon per minute pump. That would give you 15-20 seconds in boost without the water running through the core twice.

 

I use a 5 gallon with a 15 gpm

 

Very nice, I like the cooler setup you have. Might consider that if I was planing on driving it on the street

I was thinking a 1GPM inline pump, I just dont justify spending over 100 bucks on a pump that is only used for 12 seconds. I mean its already going to be pretty damn cold.

I contacted Spearco and they said they use a 2.1gpm pump..

How much psi are you guys running on this pumps? The pump I looked at said 10psi.

3 gallon resovior sounds good.
