first of all, yes i did a search. i went through 11 pages of b20 crap and didn't find what i'm looking for.

i just wanted to know what kind of 1/8th (thats right, not 1/4th) times you guys get in your setups. ET and MPH and 60 ft? Thanks a bunch. My friends are building up a drag car for the 1/8th track and i'm wondering if a turbo setup will be worth it. so far this is the kind of info i have collected:

1\8th times: crvtec = 8.5, non-tech crv = 9.6,
1\4th times: crvtec = 13.5, crv = 15.2
crv t3/t4 turbo 12 psi open header = 11.7

of course these times vary but i averaged them out. did not average crv turbo times because they are rare on the forum.

 

I pal of mine is running a B20b with an LS tranny, TD04-15g, 310cc injectors, SFMU, bla bla bla in his 94 civic coupe.

First time at the track this year he ran 14 @ 101mph. This was on a very hot day. he expects to be in the high 13's.

 

sounds like the turbo is too small. 400cc makes a big difference. hell, b16s run bigger turbos then that...

 

Think so? So what should he check out? like a T3/T40E or something like that?

But if he is only pushin 7psi what does it matter? I know the whole efficiancy thing, but why rush out and buy another turbo?
