Do you guys know of any So Cal Junk yards that might have Integra parts?

 

Maybe the pick-a-part in Wilmington?

 

All the pick it parts junk yards I have been to only have old american cars. Only hondas I have seen there are mid 80's civics.

I heard the one in wilmington has 90 and up cars. I been to the one in Anahiem and that one is 89 and under cars.

 

Blue motors is pretty whack.. they have a lot of honda/acura stuff but their prices are high ..I was looking at some body panels and w/ their pricing I might as well have bought new... they seemed pretty rude too.. or maybe its cuz we (me and my friend) weren't Armenian and there was kind of a language barrier...

they also wanted $800 for 97 GSR wheels w/o tires that my friend wanted ... I was like r u serious? I can get those (97 GSR rims WITH tires) off recycler.com for around $350... and the guy got pretty mad..

where are these Wilmington, Anaheim and Irwindale HOnda/Acura junk yards you guys mention? I'd like to check them out sometime do you guys have the name of the yards, address, phone number or at least directions? Thanks in advance..

haha i was going to say blue motors too. well ive had good experience with them. I didnt think their prices were too high but they usually had what i needed, theres also a bunch of junkyards around there that have hondas.

MrXMuffin: hmm maybe it was our bad to roll up in an Expedition on dubs Lolz we brought that cuz we thought parts would be cheap and we'd need the cargo space but the prices they gave me and my friend.. we might as well have bought it new or off recycler or partstrader... I went to several of those junkyards on Tuxford (the whole street is junkyards basically).. most didn't have honda/acura stuff.. at least not the hood, fender, wheels and other stuff we were looking for...

the guy got pretty pissed off when I told him we could get those wheels off the recycler for around $350 w/ tires.. he wanted $800 and they didn't have tires.. after that things went south and we left..

 

BLUE MOTORS is a great place..I have bought allot of parts from them..

OK i have to ask since I've been there before... when you ask them how much something costs.. are you supposed to talk them down on the price/negotiate the price? because the prices they gave me were outrageous... like I said they wanted $800 for 97 GSR wheels w/o tires.. we all know that you can pick those up locally or on the recycler for around $350... they wanted around $300 something for a body panel that was dented and the wrong color also...

so the guy you guys spoke to spoke decent english? the guy that was there when I went to blue motors had pretty bad english and I could hardly understand what he was saying.. he seemed kind of rude also...

What are the names of the salvage yards you guys are talkin about in wilmington?

junkyard row in irwindale... theres a place i believe its called the honda way... pretty good stuff there from time to time
