Default Is this a Clutchnet Kush Lok disc???

Wondering if you guys can help me identify this clutch.

I ordered a Clutchnet Kush Lok disc from importparts.com

From the pictures I took below, looks like an new style Air Lok without the Marcel lining. Notice no copper lining, and 9 holes before the outside organic lining.

What do you guys think?

Looks like the one I have sitting on my apartment's floor...if you look at the side of it you will notice that there is a little wavy metal piece in between both layers...that's the Marcel Plate.

Austin

P.S. you might want to take a couple of pictures of the side of the disc just to confirm.

Yup - looks like the Kush-Lok. Great clutch and very light (1 lb 8 oz).

Thanks Austin and norice for the replies. I value the opinion from those who OWN the stuff they comment on.

Here's a side shot. Please confirm.

Yep...that's the Kush-Loc, that wavy looking metal is the Marcel Plate.

Yes, that is correct...it does not have any springs, the Marcel Plate acts similar to a spring and still cushions the engagement.

What is great about for me it is that it combines the advantages of an unsprung clutch - light weight (it is lighter than ACT's 4-puck, for example) and positive engagement - with the gradual engagement characteristic of a sprung clutch.

You see a previous review of it (which I installed with and ATS final drive, ACT pressure plate and Comptech flywheel) here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=232253

People obsess a lot about the weight of their flywheel - but the clutch disc is rotating mass too. My entire Clutchnet/ACT/Comptech combo weights a total of 17 lbs 15 oz, which is only about 1 lb more (and $1000 less) than the lightweight ATS Carbon Clutch and flywheel system. It is also about 9 lbs lighter than stock.
