I just ordered some slips and wanted to know what you guys thought about the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 205/50/15. I need to have a all around good tire, good in almost all weather, and have good treadwear and still have some performance edge to them.

I personally think that they fuggin suck! I had a set of 205/40/17 on my civic and they only lasted for about 6000 miles, I had my alignment set up correctly, I dont do burnouts, and I dont take corners at the limit. Wet traction it great when the tires are new, Dont even bother trying to drive them in snow or in temperatures below about 45 degrees. For the price they are a decent tire. I sold my 17's and got some konig 16's and I have the Hankook Ventus HRII's on them and I think their great, They have about 12,000 miles on them now and still look brand new, BTW i havent changed anything suspension wise since I had my 17's.
i have noticed sometimes they suffer from irregular tire wear, but mostly a good set of tires for the price
But they do have excellent wet traction, very hard to get hydroplaning
hondafrk--I have NO idea what the hell you did to only get 6000 miles out of these tires. Someone might have done a terrible alignment on your car. I only have mild camber wear on mine after ~10K miles (including a track day and a lot of drag racing). Mine are 205/50-15, if it matters.
VERY good in the wet, too.
I like 'em.

i had those kuhmos and i think they were pretty good.....when i bought them i got ripped off on the deal but i thought they were a really good tire...i give them a
They are decent for an everyday tire but don't take them to an autocross or drive extremely hard on them. If you do, then their lifespan is cut by more than half.

i got them in 195/55/15 and they were kind of disappointing after all the good things people say about them... was it just me but i didnt feel much difference with these compare to stock 185/65/14 firestone? they grip ok, not great. maybe it's cuz i havent gotten an alignment since i got the rims or what?
