it fits.
you won't be able to select where the air blows out of.
If I am not mistaken, the Civic uses a mechanical lever to select the vents, while the CRX uses an electro-mechanical system to do the same.
I had a Civic A/C controller on my CRX, I couldn't change the air to come out of different vents.

not to mention the fact that almost every crx guy hate you for using up something that each of them need....these commonly break and are difficult to source in good shape

I did it in my civic. It is not that hard. But, you need to have a good friend with a totalled CRX give you the small actuators for the vent and air control.

I wanna hatchback dash so i can use my integra console (so i can use a cupholder).
Is there any problems ill run into while swapping dashes? What all should i get from the hatchback? Plz help, thx.

but one would think that because some of the crxs use the same type of climate control as the hbs you would be able to make it fully functional?

im pretty sure all 2g crx's use the push button control, not the ghetto *** mechanical pull/push level...its because crx's are better...

we tried putting a hatchback dash into a crx before, and it just wouldn't line up right. kinda wierd cuz i had a CRX dash in hatch, so you'd think it would have to be switchable back and forth. another thing you have to think about is your carpet, it's cut close to the console so it dosen't cover everything up (body metal) when you'd use a Civic dash.

regarding the push button climate control in a hatch, i heard it was a bitch to wire up.

I have an integra armrest in my crx, but its not perfect. So i got the integra console with cupholder and i want to put that in. I tried to put it in, and just modify my console to fit it, but i just couldnt see how it could be done.
So i want a hatchback dash so i can use the integra console i have and finally have a cupholder lol.
I wonder if it just worth the trouble sometimes lol. Thx, josh.
Here is the thread to the integra console with hatch back dash. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=198324
