Stock ITR lugnut question?
How don't they work? Do they not tighten down enough?
Thanks a lot for the info, basically do you think I can get by with the stock one's for one night? I have an appointment in 2 hours and I will be getting a new set of lugnuts tonight when I leave work. Thanks again for your help

I would advise against it. Get the nuts first. Its not a good idea.

I will admit to running millinia wheels at an auto-x torques to 90 ft-lbs with stock lug nuts with no issues. ADn then got my rays lug nuts in the mail the next day.
odd, from what i recall, the stock itr nuts are spherical shaped, which will not seat properly on rota's, which require an acorn (edit: Asahi says tapered is the proper term) shape nut...

there are only 2 kinds of lug nuts tapared and acron. acorn are spherical so sounds like you describe the same thing.
Most wheels require tapered except Hondas.

Aftermarket wheels and lug nuts: Tapered.
Do not mix the two.
