is the JDM B16A VTEC solenoid seal/gasket/filter thing the same as a B16A2 or B16A3???

or any other series?

I am pretty sure they are all the same, I just put a brand new type R spool valve assembly onto my JDM B16A.

So is it recommended to special order this thing when changed a solenoid to another motor.?

 

are you talking about an early b16?
1st gen vtec sol. are different than obd1+. and the gasket wont fit

what will fit ? ive been searching -- no one has an answer

I really dont know where to get a 1st gen gasket but...

edit:the internals differ a little between the 2 also.spring and piston are interchangeable; the little round top piece is different between the 2

 

If I'm not mistaken, a D series solenoid will also fit B series...

 

will the d series one fit?
