Default OBD0 to OBD1

Im a DA (a 90-91' Integra w/ your glorified center console & future motor swap)
I ask my question here, because you guys are the only ones who have similar electronics & controls.

I did the search on the conversion.
Does anyone know how to become an OBD1 convert?
Using a different distributor, custom harness, and whatelse would I need?

Please help

Instant message blown90hatch, he sells the conversion harness. You will need it , a obd1 distributor, ecu , o2 sensor. You can use either obd 1 or obd o injectors depending on if you keep the resistor box in. I am running one of blown 90's harnesses and havent had any problems.

Does he make harnesses for an OBD-0 to OBD-2, so that we can run a USDM typeR motor and ecu injectors etc. etc. etc.?

C-Speed Racing or JDM HondaParts can supply you with OBD0 to OBD2 ver1 or OBD2 Ver2 adapters.

Hey right on you're from surrey

Anyways, as everyone is saying, you'll need an adaptor harness, obd-I ecu, dizzy, and preferably injectors. Yo'll have to add the 4-wire 02 sensor, and extend a few wires, blah blah. I have heard that running obd-o injectors, even with the resistor, results in the injectors burning out more quickly than obd-I ones. You can even make your own converter harness. i did. You hack up your old OBD-O computer, use the plugs, and then get theplugs off the new ecu on the other end. I used a CRX specific chart to do this though, so you may be better off just buying one.

yep, had it towed to have the exhaust welded up yesterday and drove it out of the parking lot. I was so nervous I was shaking. Then I had to drive in figure 8';s for 30 min to break in the kaaz diff, worst half hour of my life (it was 90 deg our and humid.) Got 40 miles on it so far. wish me luck.

I did the obd1 conversion a few months ago, the minime runs way stronger this way. Vtec is much more potent.

Ive heard nothing about this obd0 injector problem. If I wanted to switch to obd1 injectors, I would just have to bypass the injector box all together and run the second wire straight to the ecu right ?

i have dsm450cc injectors and dont want to get rid of them for the obd1 conversion. do i have to rewire any thing for the injectors then? what about the plugs for the distributor, or does the conversion wire harness takes care of that?

If you are currently running the stock setup with your 450 injectors, you will not need to do anything to run OBD1. Some say that the injectors won't last as long, but I've yet to hear or see any evidence of that.

The line about injectors not last as long is BS. I'm using the dsm injectors with the hondata and its fine.
