Took type r in my eg to the dyno tonite
i did 4 pulls my set-up is 2000 type R motor with iceman intake,dc 4-1 header,dc sp exhaust my t.b is a gsr one becasue the type r got broken in shipping.i did 2 runs with gsr ecu and 2 runs with a mugen chipped p28.with the gsr ecu i made 183hp and 127tq with the redline at 8200rpm it was still making power at 8200rpm.with the mugen chipped p28 it made 179hp and 126tq with redlining at 8500rpm with the hp falling off at 8200rpm.so i need to get my gsr ecu rev limiter taken off and tune the fuel with my vafc .oh and i had the vtec set at 56

That is damn good to be making 183 with basically bolt ons. I gonna see what my motor can do with out gettting bigger cams (Leaving that until last).

I've found that different people, engines, dyno's, area, weather, etc all contribute to numbers varying across the country. While I agree that's a little on the high side of heard of claims like 185-189 on stock cams and OEM honda parts. 200 hp on Toda spec A's (From reliable people).
It depends on too many factors.
On a side note would you be able to post a dyno sheet by anychance I'd love to see the plot (esp if you guys set vtec so low and have no dip before changeover.)

I GOT THE OTHER RUN THE 183HP ONE BUT IM HAVING PROBS WITH IT ILL HAVE IT UP BY TONITE http://www.imagestation.com/mypictur...ption=project1
Those numbers sound right. We made 178 at the wheels with i/e, vafc and cam gears. No custom computer but the same year engine 2000 JDM ITR in a 96 hatch.
