Help!! Water pours on my foot (gas pedal) while AC is on and making right turns..
Help!! 2000 Accord 27000 miles just started to dump water on my foot while the air conditioning is on and when making a right turn. Just also noticed that if you make a sharp left water pours in the passenger compartment also. I would imagine it is just a clogged drain from the AC condensor etc. But where do I start to look? The car is still under warranty but if it something very simple I would rather take care of it myself....

lol same thing happens to my friends 95 mustang gt, when he floors it water starts pouring out from under the dashboard. i dont know why.
Another example of a MIA product (Made in America). Yes, I'm glad my Accord will be replaced with an actually Japanese assembled car (less than 6 weeks and counting kids!).
hey dunreit, i sat in the new 350 at the nissan dealership, they had one like a couple days ago and it looks like they sold. it was teh base model though, it was around 26k. pretty nice car, looks amazing from outside.
im talking about browns nissan beside fairfax honda.

yeah it's just a cloged or pinched a/c drain line, my bro had the same problem with his 'tegra after he got the a/c serviced. I would just take it to the dealer and let them unclog or undo the pinch since it's still under warranty.

please please please john dont rub it in...btw..what are you doin with the good ol trusty accord?
I HATE honda america factories. my 92 accord was made in the american factory, replaced so much **** in it.. and if its a 2000 it should have a warranty? take it to the dealer if it does.. that sounds like a genuine AMERICAN MADE product you got there. lol

I have an american made honda and the only problems I have had are:
NONE
I will have to replace engine mounts soon (the car is 9 years old) due to the tranny's tendancy to shift very hard....i fixed this problem with one bottle of lube guard

Same thing happened to mine. I noticed one day my passenger floor mats were soaked, but couldnt figure out what it was. One day had a friend, and he was going crazy as to why his legs were all wet. Water was shooting at him underneath the dash. Found out, I needed a new AC compressor. $600 later....... AC still sucks
You definately have a clogged drain. Under the car, under the dash position, off a little to the right you will see a rubber tube. Blow some compressed air in there and move BACK!! The water will flow out. Don't leave this too long, since the heater core is also sitting in water if this drain is clogged.
The dealer wanted $1300 to change out the heater core in my friends 1996 Accord with 35K miles. TOTAL rip off. But... the heater core took me 6 hours to replace, the whole dash had to come out.

since we are on this topic let me ask a question...
everytime i turn my ac on there is a clicking noise coming from the passenger side underneath the dash...i was thinkin it could be some leaves or something caught in the fan...is this it? and if so how would i go about removing these? i cant seem to get the fan casing removed.

So I left Ali Babba and the 40 Thieves to muddle in their ignorance, and went to anyone dealership.
