Default EJ1 speaker sizes (94 Civic Si Coupe [USDM EX coupe])

OK! I'm getting fed up with this sizing debate. What are the sizes all around for the speakers? I do have the AR tweeters and door speakers, and some crappy pioneers in the back, but i don't know the sizing of them. the ARs and the Pioneers are the same size, i've taken them out and swapped them around just to dick around. But in the front they fit nicely, in the back, they can only get one screw into the mounting ring.

please help and TIA

I'm not sure on the tweeter sizes, but it's 6.5 in the front and 5.25 in the back.

if its the same as an ex it should have a plastic mounting plate in the front and rear. if this is the case it takes a standard 6.5 inch speaker, NOT an oversized 6.5. if your car does not have plastic mounting plates and the speakers are mounted straight to the metal then it will take 5.25 inch speakers.

ok, the skinny is.... i got 6.5s in the back... really tight fit, but they still fit w/o cutting or drilling. so i'm assuming 6.5's all around is the nrom

this is always an argument. the EJ1's came with 6.5s in the front. im the back some were 5.25 and some were 6.5's. mine car had OEM 6.5's in the rear when i bought it from the original owner.

5.25s in the rear, and if my mind isn't playin tricks on me i think i have 5.25s in the front.... which make absolutely no sense.... i think i have to double check that
