Default Still the benchmark

http://www.edmunds.com/insidel...521#2

"Surprisingly, the joint Toyota-Subaru R&D team has chosen the out-of-production, front-wheel-drive Honda Integra Type R as its benchmark, because its styling, performance parameters and dimensions mirror what the development team wants to create. "

I am assuming it is the DC2 not the DC5.

What it looks like is they are trying to create a brand like the Type-R brand for themselves.

Its something I'll definitely look at buying. I love Toyota products, but they have nothing that fits what I want. Doesn't hurt that I'll get employee pricing on it.

I always trip out about the headlights. Its funny how concepts always have dramatic headlight designs and when the actual car comes out into production, the headlights look like blah.

I would be suprised if they were referring to the DC2 and not the DC5R. THen again the DC2R has withstood the test of time.....
