My S13. This was my 1st car. I bought it 100% stock.

My dad ran into it backing out of the driveway....on his birthday...

Then my mom bought me an EF to drive around in the winter. I miss this car. Mostly because my mom bought me it lol. This is when my friend owned it. It had 13'' "authentic spoon replicas" that I painted white (after they were silver, black, gold, and bronze). He re-painted them bronze
. I bought it with the wheels as the only mod. I lowered it and put a "garden fiber" lip on it. That got melted when I pushed my friend's car to another city bumper to bumper. He was trying to blow it up so he kept revving the hell out of it. Melted garden fiber FTL.

Sold the 90 and got a 93...no pics of that one on the computer though.
Then I randomly bought a 99 hatch. Me and my friend drove to newyork to get it. Chicago to Rochester and back in 19hrs!! Including buying the car!! We're animals. Bought that car stock as well. This is how the car sat about 2 months after I bought it, IIRC. Note the Galant in the back ground. More on that later.
During all this, I also bought a $125 300ZX as a rally car. It was freaking freaking freaking awesome for the couple of nights that I owned it. It had 244k on it and did burn outs till I couldn't breath ...then we blew up the tire doing a burn out and drove it home 15 miles on rim sliding it around. The seats weren't even really bolted down. A most dangerous endeavor. But fun. I figured my dad would be pissed if I parked it in front of the house...so I parked it in a random parking lot. It got towed on father's day. The fee to get it out was $125. By this time, it had massive dents, no back window, a flat donut on it, and was burning oil like it was going out of style. No thanks...keep the car.

Then I got S2000 fever. It was one of my friends' faults. I drove his car a couple of times and had to have one. The Galant just sat in our driveway for when my sister came back in town to drive it..maybe 2 weeks out of the year total (if that). So I figured I'd drive the galant as a daily and in the winter, sell both my cars and have an S2000.
So I bought a stock S2000 with 18k on it a couple of weeks later. It had never seen snow and had barely seen rain. It has ONE small tiny little scratch on it. The rest was flawless. Some old rich guy owned it. I bought it from a Chicago Benz dealer. Best car EVER owned!!
I still hadn't sold my S13. The civic sold in like 5 mins lol.

I took it to road america the 1st week I had it. It was still on stealership shitty tires and was RIPPING around the track unbelievably well. Stock brakes faded bad after a 130mph stop.
I lowered it when I got back from road america on Skunk2 springs as a temporary solution (more on that later). The SKUNK springs really did well at other track events as well. I also put city lights in it. It was really scary to drill into expensive *** headlights.

The lip came in during the winter storage months. Here it is in the driveway. I let it run once a week or so.

In the meantime, the Galant was getting annoying. I MPGs weren't impressive and I was driving 80 miles a day back and forth from school. It only had 65k on it, but was having other issues as well. Suspension and engine related. Mistubishi FTL. So I traded it in for a GSR. 100% stock. 100% factory maintained. Ran like it was right off the showroom floor. Here it is all waxed up the following spring.

I was still having tons of fun with my S2000, however.

Then this happened:

So why not paint the stock wheels an irrational color. Laguna seca blue. That got ruined at Gingerman. Race brakes+ heat = ruined painted wheels. So it became voodoo blue later. (toyota FJ cruiser blue).

7 months went by with the GSR, and I kinda got sick of it. For lots of retarded reasons. It was a great car...but I REALLY missed my civic. So I traded the GSR in (for more $$ than I bought it for 22k miles ago lol) for a 99 Si. It was....not my style when I bought it...

But it was CLEAN!!
So I bought some stock tail lights the next day. Then eventually a world sport. The exhaust it came with is for sale right now.
At the same time, The S2000 got some new winter mods. Progression:

Sittin in the garage all durrty durrty

This is my civic today. I just clay bar'd and waxed it. Unfortunately, it rained earlier tonight also
lol my friend let me borrow his wheels. I was painting the stock EM1 wheels ITR GM (kaiser silver). Best paint job ever. It will be the next big thing.

Cleannnnn

The wheels. They came out great.

The S2000 sitting in the driveway. It actually got raised up a little bit. This is what happens when springs settle lol.

That's it for now. Hopefully I'll be able to update this from time to time.

Nah. I thought about putting it on some Eibachs or Tein lowering springs..but I like that I make it over driveways and speedbumps, especially in the city. It's a commuter car thru and thru so ride comfort is really important. I drive it around 80 miles back and forth from school the daily round trip is usually around 100 miles including work. The roads can suck...and it snows around here sometimes up to 6'' or so. I keep thinking about lowering it, but know I shouldn't.

lol the DC handled much better and felt sportier than the Si. The Si does have FRY HOLDERS!!!! in the rear. FRY HOLDERS!! lol...plus it just has a nicer interior and more room. I also like the over all "character" of the B16A. The C1 just wasn't working for me. It was a power house for sure....but kinda boring. If I would have gotten an ITR, I would probably still have a DC.

I hope you're not saying you're selling your S2000 for a DC. That seems counter productive
Thanks for all the comments, guys.

lol sometimes, I think back and say "what a waste". There are a few cars and a few deals I wish I would have never have done...but hey whatever. I'm done swapping around cars and wasting money for a little while.
By the time I'm 30, gas will be $100 a gallon and we'll all be driving hydrogen or electric cars. I guess that will be pretty OK. Mazda is working with a hydrogen rotary, BMW has some hydrogen projects, Honda allready has a Hydrogen car....so I'm sure we'll have something cool in 7 years.

I was there with my buddies last year, didnt feel my car was ready for the track so I didnt want to risk it. This year my car will be ready but I dont have the time or money to fix anything so I will most likely just watch again. I think we are setting up a LoveFab booth of some sort so I will have something to do. I will at least bring my crap box this year and beat on it to and from the hotel to the track

woot?! So buy an NA car, keep it close to stock and come out. I guarantee it'll be more fun than constantly fixing a fast car

yeah.....I mean it handled nice and was quick and everything. Just not for me. I hated the trans. The C1 is boring. The interior was hideous...and there wasn't enough room. Honestly, I wish I would have just held out and got the EM1 instead of going through buying the GSR and then trading it in later and feeling like a chump.
If I was looking for a "fun" car and I didn't have the S2000, the DC would have been the choice over the EM1. But I was just looking for a soft, roomy daily driver with cupholders lol. I like the B16A's general character and I like the Si trans a lot. So I guess I was sort of looking for a little bit of fun in the car as well.
I'm an idiot. I should have just sucked it up and kept the DC since I allready had it lol. Oh well. I owe $0 on any of my cars. So I drive for free (minus insurance, gas, maintainence, etc. obviously).
