Default No more puddles in your spare tire area [fix that hatch leak]

OK, so I know allot of us have leaks in our EF's, mainly in the hatch, I've been struggling with mine too. But I got one source of my leaks done. I'm gonna show you what one could possibly be. I found this while replacing my tail light gaskets and I haven't seen this come up as a fix for it.

there are other things that could be leaking, here are some other things readers found:
weather stripping
bad taillight gaskets
rear washer fluid nozzle
area where hatch meets needs sealant
window gaskets

if none of these worked for you, try this hopefully it'll fix it.

Okay, as I mentioned before, I found this while replacing my tailight gaskets. So step one would be to remove your side tailights [IMG][/IMG] http://www.flickr.com/photos/10774352@N02/2453789466/now step 2
their is like a drain hose I found their that routes water to the outside fenderwell, it connects to an exit hose in their somewhere and might not be connected (my problem) or clogged and backing up. draining the water to your spare tire area [IMG][/IMG] http://www.flickr.com/photos/10774352@N02/2453789484/ [IMG][/IMG] http://www.flickr.com/photos/10774352@N02/2453789508/ [IMG][/IMG] http://www.flickr.com/photos/10774352@N02/2453789534/the little black tip comes off, remove it and unclog it, put you hand in the car and feel around for the meeting hose, it'll go in about 2 inches. I might remove the black tip altogether if it gets clogged again.
now replace your tailights and your done.

If you want, sit in the hatch while someone sprays water on your car, look for the leak, you might just need a little dab of sealant somewhere.

Okay, my remaining issue is that whenever I turn on my rear washer nozzle I get a leak from my headliner, anyone know how to fix this. I'd really appreciate it

there's one on each side of the car, so do both

The leak from the headliner when you spray the rear window is probably a bad plastic connector.

If you take off the plastic surrounding your dome light you should see it. It will run towards the driver's side of the car.

It joins two pieces of hose together and has been there since the car was made. The years of heating up and cooling down have probably taken their toll on it.

Check a local auto parts store for a similar connector.
