Default Auto to manual

Has anyone done an auto to manual tranny swap? I have a 89 civic and I want to do it. If anyone has done it, how long did it take and what parts do I need. Any info would be helpful.

Default Re: Auto to manual (mugen89)

i just did one, got the car running just yesterday..
off the top of my head
tranny, clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, bearings (throwout, pilot), shift linkage with "bitch" pin, stabalizer bar (should be with the shift link) bushings, shifter and misc things for that, fluid, ecu, throttle body, clutch cable, pedal set. starter, mounts!(this is important) for the front tranny mount you'll need the rubber part of the mount connected on the trans, on the right(passenger side) you'll need the mount on the trans as well as the rubber one, and on the rear you'll need the rubber mount as well as the one that bolts to the frame
you will also need to drill 2 holes into the body to mount the shift linkage (its not hard)
thats all i can think of for now
if you have anymore questions IM me or just post them up
good luck
