After messing around for more than a year with various paper designs, I finally convinced my wife to let me get one built.
The basics are a 4-1 design with 1.75" primaries and 2.75" collector.
Here are a couple of pics of the header:

Over the next couple of months, I plan to post the results of dyno testing on motors of various sizes and builds.
This project was inspired by a couple of people on this board, runnerdown, Donf, BPI, tonio, and my own desire to learn something new. I'd also like to thank synapse motorsport for his tremedous fabrication skills.
Finally, I'd like to thank my family for supporting me.

how do the plugs look?Because from the shortest tube to the longest is about 10 to 12 inches different in length. That quite a bit.So i guess the term "Equal length" is not used to describe this header.

Lol, the variation in length is less than 1/8".
It has not been run yet.

I'm not trying to be mean towards your header but its not fair to the people that read these threads to give false info.
I have enough expierence in this field that I can tell you how long all four tubes are just by looking at them.

collector looks good though... where did u get them?
i would prolly prefered, to have the 1 and 4, bend inward and then bend downard to give length.. kinda like the 1 and 2 of a DC 4-1 ,
but.. im no expert lol so lets see what the guru's say

The craftsmanship looks pretty good from the pics, but from this pic in particular, there is no way in hell those are within 1/8" of each other.

But ask yourself, which pulses is he trying to pair? and what is the range is going for? Then the lengths may make a bit more sense.

I didnt ask myself any of that since I have no idea what the intended useage is, or what the builder was trying to achieve. I simply noted that you stated

But this is clearly not the case.

You and chassis builder missed the most important part. Highlighted below

I guess I should have said for each pair.

Don't take this this the wrong way but you can't pair off cylinders in a 4-1 collector. And by making all four tubes four different lengths to make power at every RPM range won't work either. As much I wish it did,It won't.And I also think the tube on the exit is 2 1/2. And with the scab welded to it its about 12"long.

for you.
very nice indeed
