integra shifter in civic?

shorter shifts than stock civic shifter? i know it won't fit in a 4th gen or pre 94 teg, but everything after..5th gen, 6th gen, and 94+ tegs it should work.

I think 96-00 Civics have longer shift rods than Integras. I think spankaveli's old Si coupe has an Integra shifter in it (am I right?) because the shifter leans forward in that car when it's in neutral (when I drove it I killed it cuz I pulled it back into 4th thinking I was going into neutral
).
).
I have one in my 98 coupe , feels better for some reason than the civic one, but I think the cat, or some part of the exhaust rattles againsts it under load.
I don't understand how you guys are running teg shift levers. What year.
If it's the last gen Teg, you can't be putting it in '96-'00 civics.
It wouldn't fit. If it did, post pics.
I just had an '00 Type R shift lever machined down to fit in my '99 Hatch.
There is no way that would just drop in.
Post pics if you have done it, of the shift lever you dropped in. Or exactly which teg shifter you put into exactly which civic.

Are you saying that because the bottom part of the teg shifter is wider than the civic shifter? some aftermarket shifters (including mine and DC Sports) are narrow at the bottom, and they include spacers to use when installing it in Integras. That's how mine was.
If it's aftermarket, I understand the spacer thing, but I thought they were talking OEM. Sorry.
