Default Skunk2 Turbo cam?

Hello,
Question for the day...is anyone running a skunk2 turbo cam? I have an ap1 with 8.8:1 comp pistons....f22 crank....and a paxton supercharger running about 17lbs. I am having some trouble with the valves and it looks like its all going to need to be torn down, and i was thinking about throwing a set of cams in there while its all part...any input?

I don't think anyone has tried/installed these as of yet. I don't see much gain in them though. The NA cams do virtually nothing. So I figure the turbo cams will be comparable to the NA cams performance as a whole.

Even so, cams in general on the S will not be worth it. If you're turbo charged, you'll get plenty of power without the need of little extras such as this. It's not a B-series motor when you need to change everything to achieve high HP numbers.

Did some extra research.

Show's:
max power with the cams was 418
max power without the cams was 429

Here's a thread. http://www.s2ki.com/forums/ind...&st=0

Looks like complete utter failure with the cams.

Yuck, thats not exactly confidence inspiring! I have a set of them in my coupe (gsr) motor and they work great, but i guess different motor is a different story. One other question..not specifically related. Will turbo cams work well on supercharged motors? I would imagine the intake would be the same but on the exhaust cam (say you were to custom design your own cam) would you change things up?

I wouldn't even mess with cams on the S2000 to be honest. Honda did their research & development to the fullest of their abilities before releasing this car. There's not much improvement to be made anywhere without going to drastic measures.
