What up... I just wanted to know if there are any common problems with DCs...
What kinda problems have you had? major, minor, annoying rattles, hub bearings
or anything like that... dont get me wrong i got one and Love it... so i just wanna know what to try to prevent or fix.. thanks....

well i'm guessing your thinking about buying a teggy...let me tell you what i noticed unexpectingly so far...

water leak in trunk through taillight gaskets-had to drill a hole
ungreased window guides putting strain on window motor
exhaust heat shield rattle
passenger side airbag(dash) rattle
clutch squeak
coin tray not staying shut
ebrake adjusting
leaking valve cover gaskets and cam seal
o2 sensor
mini pebble in windshield
bad ground for head unit-had to use the cig lighter's one
fuses
resetting ecu
tranny grinds(rare but random)
distributor making noise when car is warming up
water pump
thermostat
windshield washer reservoir cap cracking from weathering
bolt breaking and stuck in lower control arm-had to buy a new one
bushings
suspension needing wd-40 to stop squeaking
engine and tranny mounts
valve adjusting
seafoam/dirty iacv
srs clip snipped
clutch master cylinder
*and a kid w/ no brakes running into my driver's side door with his bicycle going 20 mph-causing me to flee the scene and replacing my smashed door and bloody door panel*

i hope i dont get all those. i think those are mostly wear and tear issues. i think hes looking for defects more

for me so far

trunk latch. doors raddle. driverside window stuck on way down. i have to push it down. and there slow. but idk if thats just my car.

 

Only thing that bothers me is the heat shield rattle.

and in the winter time my doors like to freeze closed and the lock cyl in the doors so most of the time i have to use to truck lock cyl to unlock my doors.. kinda like thismorning
