Default got letter from honda corporate about tranny issues

My girlfriends car has 9K so far. But within 2k miles third gear started poping out. I contacted honda corporate and talked to one of the guys, and they didnt know what i was taliking about. After 5 minutes of searching on his computer, he found a long list of complaints. Corporate then sent me some paperwork to show the honda dealership and he says that should be enough evidence for the dealership to replace the tranny without them giving you bullshit.

I have yet to visit the dealership but we'll see what happens

It'll come back even after you change the MTF.

Did you even read what you posted? The highlighted portion of the service bulletin calls for replacing the manual transmission fluid, not the transmission or any of its components.

I second this...a quick search will tell you that this is old news from before the '07 SIs came out. There's news about a complete rebuild of the gearbox but we'll see what Honda really does...
