Default gsr leather back seat problem! HELP

Ok, well I got a set of gsr leathers from a friend for cheap and decided to put them in tonite. I came across kinda a big problem when installing the back seat. Now I knew there would be a big gap between the upper and lower cushion and possibly a gap on both sides. Im ok with that because I was gonna put foam under the bottom to raise it up and eliminate the gap, but upon installation I found that NOTHING really fit! The integra seats had no brackets on them and they had dowel pins that my ek doesn't have a slot for. And also there doesn't seem to be any support for the upper middle where the 2 backrests meet, kinda like if someone sat there itd collapse! Does anyone have pics of their ek's with gsr leather backseats in? and fronts too if you got them...

I def want these seats in and I've seen them in many of time before but the day I go to do mine nothing goes right!

All help is appreciated and TIA

UPDATE* I just read somewhere I am supposed to put the integra back cushion on the civic frame, true? this will make them mount perfect besides leaving the gap, correct?

Ok, this might sound mean but this what happens when you listen to 90% of the people on this form.

Most people just repeat the **** they hear having never done it themselves. But it a generally accepted practice here I'm not the one to fix it.

So you know by now the fronts fit with use of 3 bolts instead of 4.

The rear bottoms fit like a average man in a **** star. And the tops fit in but don't bolt up.

So what do you do? I heard (key word there) that the sedan bottoms fit. But I won't put my name on it.

1. Ok for the tops get a drill bit and match it to the rod that protrudes from the outside of the seats. Then go one size larger for play.

2. Remove the bolts that hold the brackets for the old seats. 12mm. The threaded hole is what your going to be drilling out.

3. After that its only a matter of welding a piece of round stock to the center bracket. The piece should be about 2.5-3 inches max or you may never get them in since the fullness of the cushion in what keeps everything centered.

If you don't have or no someone with a welding machine I don't know how you are surviving cuz super glue and liquid nail can only fix so much. Hope that helped.

I have the 2 door bottoms. How do I get them to bolt in? I only got one bolt in there and I had to just drill a hole to get it in. Anyone who has some experience w/ it??? Helppp

well gotta be innovative man. i just used a 2-3inch steel bar the width of a pen to hold the teg back seats together, works perfect for me. used foam to lift up the bottom peice too, only problem are the sides are still gapped cause i too am using 2dr teg seats

i have them in my 96 ek. the bottom is out of a 2 door. it dont fit so its just in there til i find a 4 door. wich is rare. but for my back i did not modify the gsr at all. i used a drill bit a hair bigger then the end posts of the seats, drill out the threaded holes on the frame were your original seat bolted. now for the center i used the pole from a stock honda jack. let me take pic and ill get right back.

the peice that i am holding i cut 6 inches of and used that through the center bracket. as for keeping it tight u use the plastic washers with the lip from your original seats to keep it tight
