Dont do it. You think you are getting a deal. I have seen these things come incomplete. Plus they are junk. Nothing is brand name. And I wouldnt risk the bearing on the turbo busting out. Not to mention they dont fit right.
there was one guy. do a search on ebay turboes using the search at the top right. in a nutshell they are crap. especially over 6psi. save your money and piece the kit together. even complete kits can be a waste of money. putting it together yourself, you know the quality because you hand choose them. oh, and do more searching. doesn't sound like you really know alot if you are considering ebay turboes.
ok, well i have been into hondas for a couple years but this is the first i have gotten into turbo applications. on the subject of piecing together the kit, i think i will. im just gonna take the build slow and make sure i get the right parts. thanks guys
one of my friends had a turboed mx-3 with a ebay turbo on it t3/t4 he took it to the machine shop that builds turbos down here in GA all they said that it was a remanufactured turbo that's been pieced together it might say garrett on the out side but the inside says a diff story but anyway he had a problem with BAD BLOW BY and all that came out the exhaust was burning oil so the turbo was goin up and haven't had it that long btw.
search or check out the forced induction forum. This has been covered many times: https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum/16

A wise decision. Like Doostur said, there's a million and one topics on ebay turbo kits. Take your time and build you own, you (AND your car) will be glad you did!

Good Luck.

I would have to agree. ebay turboes are crap. My hatch was running one when I first put it together and it started leaking oil into the intercooler piping after just one week.. I already had another brand new ebay turbo sitting in the shop so I switched them out. The brand new one (still had the blue caps) didnt even last a week before the seals went bad.. save your money and get one that will last..
