Default ls block with type r internals standard pistons or oversized?

when do i use standard pistons and when would i use oversized.

ls block has about 80k miles

if your cylinder is bad and out of round then it has to be bored out and honed again then use o/s. but if your cylinder is good and just needs a hone then use standard. if u gonna spend the money might as well get the o/s. its not much more.

i do a compression test to see if the cylinder is good right? if the cylinders are good then get standard right?

is there a performance difference between oversized and standard?
