fender roll
Hey has anyone rolled their fenders? im thinking about rolling just my rears. Im on tein basics and i have a no finger gap kinda tucking, im gonna get a camber kit in spring time (any suggestions?) But when i get the camber kit i know for sure i will rub.. I rub now once in a while over some bumps but i know once i fix my camber i am gaurenteed to rub ALOT.
So anyways, is it worth it to roll the fenders or no, are there alternatives other then raising the car? i need the camber kit also cuz my tires are fucken retardedly sideways.

i have a bat and a hammer, that's what i used. i rolled the rear all the way, like a "U"
unless you have wide tires, or are really low in the rear, or have a low offset wheel, i dont think you will rub.
if your rear is that low, the front doesn't go that low, so it looks goofy, you should raise it, then you won't have a problem.
the paint chips as soon as you take anything to it, so be ready to spray it with black or whatever... so it doesn't rust.

it will rub even more, it rubs when there are unavoidable dips in the road. If i got the alignment it would straightn my wheels to where i will set the camber kit at and i will rub even more.
Did you heat up the fenders before u rolled em? I dont wanna take a bat to it, i wanna use the special roller thing where you connect it to the hub and its adjustable.

stock wheels for winter
But they rub even for this small size of a tire</TD></TR></TABLE>
that is really weird, there's no reason why it would rub on stock wheels unless you have positive camber and your rear is saggy, but you dont even have a camber kit...
anywho, whatever. find someone to let you borrow, or buy the roller that attaches to your hub... sounds expensive, i would just use a bat.
good luck

will that rub over imperfections in the road ( and i have a lot)
i went through a pretty bumpy uneven road and ive been having lower back pain for days now with a tight 2 finger drop in the rear

if i rub over bumps and what not, will i be able to hear it? and will that damage my fender or tires the first time around? I'm going to install it at a shop and i hope they'll be able to tell me if i need to roll anything. thanks

If your tires rub, there will be no mistaking it, that's for sure.

stock i believe is at 185/65/15 so even with 195/65/15's you shouldnt rub. on my stock tires, ive been at the point where i was tucked about an inch deep and on top of that had 3 adults loaded in the rears and not have them rub at the fenders at all when going over speed bumps. of course, the exhaust would go to hell but not the fenders lol
Man, that is strange that you are rubbing? I had ran 215/40/17 Azenis RT 615 and never had an issue, and the RT 615s are a wide tire. I was dropped pretty low also. I never had an issue until I went to 225/50/15 Kuhmo V710s on a rim with a 35 offset, but the V710s are a SUPER WIDE tire. I took them for a drive to get some intitial heat in them, when I returned I had two nice groves in the tires and could feel the rubber on the inside of the rear wheel well.
To roll my fenders I used heat and a roller, but yeah no heat gun = cracked paint.
