Default mounting integra intercooler?

i have a 1994 integra LS. i'm about to install my turbo kit, but i've noticed that on the right side infront of the radiator, there is a metal pipe that goes across the front grill.

so how did you mount the intercooler, because it doesn't look like i can bend that piece out of the way? do i have to mount it infront of that and cut my front lip to fit my intercooler?

p.s. i have a spearco intercooler by the way

any help would be appreciated...thanx

You gotta bend that metal line out of the wya. Bend it slowly though

As for the lip, if you have the 98+ stock front bumper you'll have to clip a little bit here and there from the stock grill...or like some people, cut the whole grill off.

If you have the 94-97, it should go behind the stock grill with no problem.
