Default 1946 Chevrolet Suburban

I never post in A/C 'cause my car sucks... but I do occasionally come in and check out what you guys are rockin'.
To give back a little to the A/C regulars, here's a look at a 1946 Chevy Suburban my dad restored.

I didn't take any of the photos... unfortunately he sold this beast before I got into photography.
Before pics probably taken by my mom, and the after pics taken by my brother.

This old pile was found in a field where one tree had fallen on top of it and another had grown up through the floorboard.

My dad did every bit of paint and body work, including cutting out and remaking parts of the door frames, doors, fenders, and roof... all out metal.

He also droppped in a rebuilt Chevy 305 and tranny, a new Mustange II front end, and an independent rear suspension from a Ford Thunderbird.
The interior was uholstered (the only part of this job he didn't do by himself) with leather and high quality carpets and tweeds, and he added a DVD and 7 speaker sound system.

I wish I had some pics of the process and some of the finished interior.
Click here for a few more before and after exterior pics.

Hope you enjoyed checking my pop's work.

i'm not a fan of the wheels and all that. it'd look 10000x better on the floor, thats just my opinion tho.
