Would like to know what the problems were. Did he take the part back after you bought it and it didn't fit?

he sold me a pos radiator.that almost blew up.the sides expanded and car started top overheat.i also noticed his $110 radiator is way more poor quality then the other $130 ebay radiator i bought from another guy. at least the $130 one is a 2 row design, better quality in the welds and looks a lot more durable. but k. what made me upset was that he basically told me it wouldnt work for the cars he was selling it for.he asked what kind of car and engine it had.for crying out loud i told him it was a 93 civic with a d15 sohc non vtec.and then he replied that it overheated because of the engine.when after the stock radiator was back in it ran fine n cool again.so i asked him why he's selling it for a civic if when the part fails he's going to blame it on the stock engine.idk retarded.but anyway if u guys buy a radiator buy at the very least the $130 one from cxracing or sumtin like that.k peace!

Did the radiator have any sort of brand name on it?

I replaced my factory radiator with another factory style one from radiator.com (I think was the website), and I think the brand was CSX? Not sure, but it's a single row w/ plastic end tanks just like stock, and it's been on my car for almost 4 years now without a single problem. It was like $120 or so shipped.

replacing factory for another factory with the same flaws is not very smart, get a mishimoto or better all aluminum rad and call it a day

should have gone to radiatorbarn.com , I have bought two different radiators from there so far and they are all metal, no plastic. And for a civic they are about $75-85 shipped. With a lifetime warranty.

Anyway, why would you buy off of Ebay if there are waaay more vendors/sponsers on honda-tech that give MUCH better deals/customer service.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience and thanks for the heads up. I heard radiatorbarn was the place for new radiators.
