Harness bar
Best to run like that rather than how takata recommends

Well I have heard if you don't install the harness the correct way and get into an accident, there is a high chance of snapping your spinal cord and such.

Best of luck to all of you.

i have never seen the arguement.. but since you brought it up, what is so "unsafe" about a harness bar??... im seriously interested.. especially considering i may be running one.

I think it was in b16_b 's build thread someone drew a pretty decent digram of what would come from mounting a harness how people do in show cars, to the rear seat

I'm not going against having a harness bar. I have one in my car with Takata's. But the argument will start about having harnesses and no cage or that they're mounted wrong even though its how the instructions say to.

I have been thinking about this for a while; my question is what is the proper way to strap the Takata's to a) Harness Bar or B) like in the pic?
