what do u mean a lil of it spilled out? your suppose to fill it up until the fill hole spills out then plug it up. and while your filling it up the car should be level in case if slanted in a way that the level of fluid is towards the fill hole and then u would underfill it. should be about 2 qts

Yes I know. I Had trouble with the angle i was at to get that bolt back in, so i jacked the car up a little more....That were the extra came out.

Can anyone answer the question?? of adding more without doing it through the fill hole.

Yes, you can do it through the VSS hole if you pull it out of the way. The tranny takes about 2.4-2.5 quarts not 2.

if u want to get technical then its 2.3 qts but usually it'll be around 2 qts cuz not all of it will drain out unless u let it sit there for awhile. anyway if u do it thru the that hole then u wont know the proper level unless it thru the fill hole , its up to u its your car your tranny.
