Default Doostur's Ongoing Japan Picture Thread (Cars, Parts, Girls, etc) - Konichiwa !!!

Instead of making a new thread every time I feel like posting some pictures, I'll just update this one. This will be pictures of my adventures in Japan. Keep in mind the pictures are taken with a simple Canon SD 950 Powershot, so bare with the picture quality. I do not feel like lugging my Canon 30D around. Enjoy & much more to come...

10-10-07 Update:: Been waiting to take pics of my friends cars since they work so much. Today I got bored took pics while they were working. Integra Type R & a Silvia

9-23-07 Update: Friend took me to the local drift scene up in the mountains (Initial D style). The guys put their cars to the test by going as quick as they can up and down the mountain. The rain does not stop these guys or their cars. Also they do not care what their cars look like, it's all about performance here. Just a few guys showed up due to rain. I got to ride in a few cars on their runs, and I will admit these guys are very good, their cars handle awesome, and I was scared to death

Short video of us driving to the parts store. In a Nissan 240. Nothing special. If you turn up your volume you can hear him barely get on it and the blow off valve go off for all you turbo freaks like me.

On the way home we saw a local guy who is known for his Twin Turbo setup in his skyline, sounded crazy. Sorry for the crappy picture.

Some random JDM chick from a local club.

Some pictures from Waterfall Jumping, and some JDM Girls Yes they each drive Integra Type Rs - More pictures of their R's coming very soon!

Nice Type-R driving by...

damn that new CTR is cheap

seems as if the company that imports them puts about £8,000 on the top of the cost of a new one. i know for a fact that shipping one over and getting it SVA'd can't cost more than £1,500

just over 25K in USD. same price as the new SI here in the US. if the CTR was here it would probably be 35K+.

damn I love older skylines

Just talked to one of the girls. She said I can take her cars and take pictures so hopefully sometime this week. She has a 98 CW, volk rims, cf hood etc which she just put on.

http://www.xe.com

A real quick estimate 100 yen to 1 USD.

Ex. 2835000 yen (for CTR) = $28,350

^ Yea is about 112 Yen to the dollar. The other day it was 122 yen to the dollar. Thats like having 22% off anything you buy. It's the girl on the left.
