Default Integra type r vs the world

I am sick of threads getting locked so I am starting a new thread.

Since the car gets soo much praise here, acnd gets compared to the best around, lets compare it to other type "rs" and other platforms

In a world full of

Would you REALLY race an itr?

Honesty is the key here.

The reason I put the itr up there is everyone seems in agreement that it is the best fwd car or all time.

What would you race? Fwd, Rwd, Awd?

I personally think there is nothing faster than a properly prepared and balanced RWD platform unless money is no object and there are no rules, in which case I would like a AWD platform.

Why does this thread need to be locked?

This is a discussion. Doesn't need to go into name calling or anything.

Just trying to get a basis on who actually thinks the car is really all it is cracked up to be.

I havent driven every stock front driver on the planet, but I will tell you that the ITR is about the best feeling front driver I have ever driven. I know there are newer cars with more power, but the ITR was a perfectly balanced tool.

The thing is I havent really seen too many ***** to the wall awd platforms.

The fastest one I have heard of is the cyber evo, and that is a bad girl.

The ITR is a fantastic car to drive for being FWD. IMO, there are no other FWD cars that compare other than newer gens or CTR. I would rather drive a RWD though.

I agree. The best FWD car I've ever driven also. There is a reason for the hype you know.

Working inside of realistic limitations and most race series rule books, I agree.

Money being no object and rules not applying, I think there are some F1 engineers who would beg to differ.
