How often do you change your spark plugs?
6-10 !? Why they hell does the manual say 105K? Granted their "severe driving conditions" don't include track driving, but still. One tenth the interval seems a little extreme. Has anyone written a revised service schedule for those of us that track our cars?

When I get home from running the car I go over it with a fine tooth comb, if I see anything used up, worn, burn, burnt-out, mangeled... I'll take care of it myself and save a few bucks.
But for a revised schedule, I think it will depend on how hard you drive your car.

Uh huh. Maybe I should do an oil change poll next.

I don't know, but I'm with Floyd on this one. Steve I know YOUR driving conditions, but for someone that gets out to a "road course" maybe 3 times a year, 6-10K miles? I'll admit, I had changed my stock plugs for the first time at 50K miles. I change my oil every 2.5K - 3K miles. I pop the hood every other fill up too to check oil consumption and to monitor fluid levels. I love my car and don't neglect it, so not caring about my R isn't an issue.
My main point was to say the same thing Floyd said. What's up with ACURA's service intervals? There's a point from being over protective and harder on the wallet to ACURA's spec... By the way, when I pulled my plugs, they looked normal in terms of wear.
I'm not a mechanic, this is just my opinion.
Thanks,

Thats about 4000 Kilometers.
Right now I am running HKS one step colder plugs. You guys think the stockers will be better?
