Default F20b Into my 98 lude!! progress thread!

Hey guys, looks like im gonna be picking up a f20b dohc vtec engine for my prelude. I know both engines are OBD2. i will be using my prelude transmission. So what else is needed?
-I know the three to two wire IAC valve change
-The dual vs single water neck sensors.
-Is the h22 dizzy the same as the f20b?
Is there anything else i need to know that needs to be modified when installing this beast? Please help me thank you very much!!
see last page for updates!!!!

cuz the F20B comes out of a Honda Accord SiR-T in Japan and it's pretty much just sick! Revs Higher, Faster....but it's also rare and expensive!

its simple use your h22 intake manifold and your water neck the dizzy is the same exept for internal coil on f20b also delete the butterfly's (secondaries) also the f20b is factory iron sleeves 11 to 1 compression h22 type s cams are allready in the f20b and be series sized valves (smaller than h22) and is de-stroked and revs high as hell its a b18c5 and h22 all in one torque and high revs go for it and all i can tell u is the same thing everybody aid when i built an h22 for my prelude put it in a hatch and do a hto b conversion with an ctr or itr tranny my boy has a 97 ek hatch with a f20b bissimoto h to b kit and a ctr tranny and jun stage 2 cams euro r single stage intake manifold (ported) and a 72mm throttle body and hondata s300 and the car is ******* sick

just use the throttle body and also your supposed to change all that the intake manifold the throttle body and such come on your going to do an f20b swap and then get cheap and the throttle body's are the same size on the h22 and f20b

i've got this theory i've been turning over in my head for a while...

could someone use the crank and rods from a h22 and put it in a f20b? that way you could have the hp, AND extra torque, and still have iron sleeves for even higher compression.

or better yet, could you use the rod and crank from a f23? just a thought..

journals arent the same, but a f22 crank would work

you could do crank and rods from a H22A4, but you can't have it both ways. Either you leave the stock iron sleeves, maybe you can bore them to 85.5 or 86mm, and then you lose HP because you lose some ability to rev and you still have less displacement than H22 so less torque - or you re-sleeve to get out to 87mm (stock H22) or whatever higher bore you could re-sleeve an H22 to, but then no more stock iron sleeves.

ok H22's dont suck just because they aren't the best motors on earth to boost in stock form.

Personally if I was going to build a motor from scratch I would attempt the G series motor simply because of the massive increase in torque over the H22 with the same amount of power.

But for all of us that don't want to turbo or can't because we know we don't have the money to do it right so we chose not too, the H22 is a great motor for the prelude just takes a little tuning to get it running good(factory tune for them is crap imo)

Your an absolute moron. What the hell does reving high have to do with a better. Leave that out of this debate ricer. The only advantage I see is iron sleeves as opposed to FRM. That being said I and most people on this forum would respect and revere a sick all-motor Prelude over a ebay turbo lude.
