clutch pedal help

Default clutch pedal help

i turned my car on... and my clutch pedal has been making a squeeky noise when its not in engaged... u can say its normal... but yesterday i went under the hood... and i was pushing that lil thing that sticks out the transmission, its connected to the pedal tho... i was pushing it shut n open... and now my clutch pedal will fall right to the floor when i barely touch it... LOL i'm a dumb ***... now how do i get it back to normal

sounds like your slave cylinder is bad. it needs to be replaced. imo, replace both the slave and master cylinder, bleed the system and everything should be back to normal.

damn its that serious... all I did was touch one thing cuz I was curious... previous to that the pedal was fine... until I touched it... now the clutch pedal is so loose that if I push it down... it won't go back up

well, that was probably a coinsident. it was probably on the way out the door anyway. they're not hard to replace, and fairly cheap to buy. imo the hardest part of the whole deal would probably be bleeding the system. and even then it's not that bad.

pick up a repair manual and follow the steps, you can't go wrong!

a new slave is like 30 bucks, i think 2 14mm bolts(?) and a 10mm line wrench.. if all you'll need tool wise.. make sure it's a line wrench, you WILL strip it outherwise.. i made the mistake for a few seconds, and almost screwed myself.. but it's a simple repair
