Reverse lights doesn't work!
I did a gsr swap in my 99 civic coupe ex and now my reverse lights doesn't work. I checked the fuses and the light bulbs itself but nothings wrong with it. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Just how did you check it? Unplug that sensor and jump the 2 wires that connect to the sensor (not the 2 wires hanging off the sensor)

You can't pass inspection w/o reverse lights in NY.

Yeah, jump the plug, the reverse lights should light up. If they do, it's a bad sensor...and I can almost guarantee that's your problem (or a bad connection to the reverse light sensor).
How'd you check it, pull it out and plug it back in? Don't exactly tell you a lot.

Its not a sensor as much as it is a switch, to check the switch itself, put the trans in reverse, get an Ohm meter, unhook the connector and read across the two wires or terminals coming off of the switch, you should have continuity between the two if you get an OL or High resistance reading replace it. If you do have continuity your problem lies in the wiring to the switch.
