if i bought them it'd be from Phil's Tire Service.

ditto!!

Phil is the man!! not only competitively priced, but he comes trackside for many, many events, both SCCA & NASA.

when it is the same price, support those that help us out!

Yeah, look in nasaforums, Phil's goes to a lot of MW/OH-IN/NE/MA region events. Definitely look for them. Consider the time saved on shipping and convenience of getting stuff mounted and balanced at the track.

If not them, I'll try Frisby race tire. They come to some events around here, and their shop is 5 miles from my house.

There's an earlier topic where this was discussed in depth, but with the server problems, I can't perform a search to find it.

I get mine from Frisby. Decent prices and Todd has great product knowledge and customer service. He shows up at track events around the Midwest, too. Lately, though, in checking prices, I've found that Edge Racing sometimes has the best prices around.

Here's the list of the places I know, listed in order of state within the U.S., then by province within Canada:

I've bought from him, too. Very good with customer service.

I've also bought from Appalachian and Edge, too, but I'd normally try Phil first just because of his first-hand support of the racers in both SCCA and NASA.

DO NOT go to Edge racing unless you have a really long time you can wait and you enjoy crappy customer service. The money you save is NOT worth it.

never had a problem with Edge racing. i've ordered a few sets of azenis from them before, and some Falken Hanabi rims. 2 days later they were on my doorstep in virginia
never really dealt with "customer service" issues though.
